Taigh na Cille is located in the township of Balivanich, on the Island of Benbecula, near to the airport, shops, Post Office, restaurants, pub, bank, laundry and other services and facilities.
Accommodation
Top of Page The accommodation is modern, clean and comfortable, consisting of two buildings that offer twelve places. The Bunkhouse welcomes groups, couples or solo travellers. Pets are also welcome free of charge.
Activities
Top of Page The Bunkhouse offers accommodation to travellers first and foremost but plans are in motion to establish it as a multipurpose centre, where various courses and activities are on offer. It will be used as a base for language and cultural pursuits as well as a wide choice of outdoor activities. These can be tailored to the needs of the group and the provision of meals on a full or half board basis can also be arranged. Cycling, hill walking, fishing, bird watching, horse riding and water sports are just a few of the activities that can be organised for individuals or groups.
Prices
Top of Page £10 per person per night. Discounts negotiable on long term stays, individuals – more than 2 nights or large groups – more than 1 night. Student rates negotiable.
