This is the ideal location for those interested in birdwatching and fishing.

Loch Bee is a mixture of salt and fresh water, connected to both the Atlantic and (by a floodgate) to the Minch.

It is fairly shallow and contains a range of species limited to brackish water.

     The views from the house are enhanced by up to 300 resident mute swans, with extra flocks of whooper swans in the winter.  
 

 

 

  

 

The waters of Loch Bee provide a perfect flat water windsurfing and kayaking environment.

The water is only waist to chest deep with a solid, sandy bottom giving you superb practising conditions.
