Isle of Lewis "B&B My Guest" Meeting - 27th February at Jannel B&B, Stornoway

This event will look at green issues and what you could do in your B&B, Guesthouse or self catering to become more eco-friendly and tips to encourage guests to do the same. An organic buffet will be provided and Waste Awareness from CnES will give a short presentation.

"Reach for the Stars" B&B Conference, Inverness - 6th March

This first ever conference especially designed for the Bed & Breakfast sector which will be held at the Drumossie Hotel, Inverness .  The day will comprise of inspirational speakers; workshops that will really get you motivated, informative talks from some of the best B&B proprietors in Scotland, a delicious lunch and a chance to network with colleagues throughout the B&B sector.

Who Cares Wins Learning Journey - 10-12th March

This three day experience offers structured, focused learning with a small group of business people. Please contact Who Cares Wins to book as spaces are limited.

"B&B My Guest" - Isle of Harris Meeting - 13th March at Ceol na Mara, Direcleit

This is the second meeting of the Isle of Harris "B&B My Guest". The meeting will look at issues raised at the first meeting and will provide an ideal opportunity to meet up with other B&B and Guesthouse owners.

Who Cares Wins Awards Ceremony - 26th March, Isle of Benbecula

Western Isles Rape Crisis Centre

We offer women and young girls who have been raped or sexually abused, free, confidential support and information.

We also support adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse.

We are open Mon to Thurs from 10am til 4 pm and we operate a Helpline on a Thurs evening

between 7 & 9 pm.

Women and girls from The Uists, Eriskay & Barra can contact us for support by telephone at the above times. In addition and by prior arrangement face to face appointments are available by a support worker who will travel to the Uists on a monthly basis.

We are currently advertising for volunteers in Lewis & Harris and will be running a training programme at the beginning of June. We plan to do the same in the Uists & Barra at a later date.
