Clanranald is situated three and a half miles from the Lochboisdale Ferry Terminal,
on the main Lochboisdale to Lochmaddy road.
The MacDonald family are direct descendants of the Clan Ranald chiefs who once were landlords of these islands. Their ruined castles are still of great historical interest. Angela is a Gaelic speaker and a firm advocate of the Celtic Culture.
